Happy Chinese New Year

Miles had a parade at school today. Although I think he had fun, it did end in tears.

...and here are the tears. He told me he got scared, but really he got in trouble for trying to climb the stairs instead of parading around the tree. Do not worry, he recovered quickly.

Miles recently threw a penny in a fountain and wished for a Bengal tiger...no joke. Anyway, I think this zoo experience is close enough.

I guess Oregonian is a dominant gene

This winter, one of Miles' favorite things to do is put on the galoshes his Nana gave him and go stomp in puddles. Too bad we only have puddles a few times a year.
