Baby shoes and miscellaneous pictures

I realized that since Drew got his new fancy camera, I have not been getting the pictures off mine. So, in an effort to catch up, here are some recent and some old pictures with captions.

I admit that baby shoes are adorable, however, until yesterday Miles had never been in any. It just seemed like extra work to get them on. Sadly, this means that Miles has already grown out of some really cute shoes. But now it is getting colder and he has needed something on his feet. Socks are a pain in the ass and always fall off, so I thought if I put Miles in some shoes that they might keep his socks on. The shoes were from his Uncle Jon and Aunt Katie and they matched his outfit perfectly!

But he quickly got them off (they are still a bit big, perhaps he won't be so efficient at removing them once his feet are bigger)...

A few months ago our friends Caroline and Kyle sent Miles a package from Alaska. In addition to the outfit, it contained a hat made by Caroline. I think she nailed the colors, it looks great with Miles' eyes.

The drool in the last shot is pretty representative these days. It is near impossible to keep his clothes dry for very long unless he is in a bib. With all this drool and constant chewing on stuff, you think he would have a few teeth by now. Nope, not yet...still just lots of teething behavior.
