How Drew spent some of his birthday money

When it is hot out and Miles needs some entertainment we take him to PetCo to look at the fish and the rodents. This is a great way to pass an hour or so, but I think the employees there are getting sick of us. On Sunday, we decided to give the poor folks at PetCo day off from cleaning Miles' smudgy little finger prints off the fish and rodents tanks, we had already been there on Saturday after all, and take Miles to the Children's Museum instead. I was pleasantly surprised by how great this place was for toddlers, and since we were there right at opening we had the place to ourselves for about an hour. Here are the pictures that Drew took.

For some reason Miles loved the Edison exhibit. He kept going back to this.

I tried to put on a puppet show for Miles, but he was more interested in the firetruck.
Miles driving me around in the firetruck.

Miles and his dad both love to watch the marbles fall. Gravity is indeed awesome.

Miles was kind of freaked out by the dinosaurs.
Although we did not make it to PetCo, Miles still got to check out some fish.
Operating the submarine.

Playing with light pens.
...and back to the submarine to drive it.
Checking out the train.
The dog washing station at the vet.
He looks like a serious little shopper, but really he is just pushing the cart into walls for fun.

The children's museum rocks. A little worried about the cart crashin', NASCAR in his future? Or is it just that all boys LOVE fast cars and fast women?
